To add to yesterday’s madness in one of our London studios, OK! magazine and The Metro, as well as local press from across the country have joined the fandango and even, in OK! magazine’s case started their own online voting poll for who has the best beachwear body out of the Miss England top ten beach wear finalists…

Today has been a very hectic day filled with hair, make-up, bikinis, lots of press and ten very hot Miss England beachwear finalists.
Out of 61 of the pageants finalists, ten ladies were selected by three sets of judges- Miss England, Sandstorm Boutique and Alan Strutt with UK Model Folios. It was a very tough decision to make because all of the finalists are absolutely drop dead amazing, but when the elated final ten turned up in our London studio today to shot by Alan they certainly proved they deserved to be picked.
The final ten ladies consisted of:
Miss Every Model
Miss Flyde Coast
Whilst the ten ladies had their make-up done by top promotions agency, Front UK and hair styled by Art Directors from Toni & Guy Mayfair, Fay L. Bacon worked with Sandstorm boutique in selecting individual looks for each finalist, ‘I wanted to create something fresh and colourful to represent summer in England but also show off all of the finalists amazing curves and toned physiques. Sandstorm provided us with the most fabulous pieces to choose from including one pieces, bikinis and cutout swimsuits. However, I decided to put each of the girls in a bikini which best suited their shape and skin tone, and the pictures speak volumes for how amazing each of them looked. Getting in to a bikini is daunting for any woman, regardless of how confident body-wise you are, but these ladies shone and strutted their stuff like pros for the camera despite for some of them it being their first time.’
At 2pm after each finalist had been photographed, fifteen different press photographers arrived from national tabloids such as The Daily Star, The Sun and The Evening Standard. As the girls posed alongside eachother for the group shots, Miss London 2011 Rissikat Bade was asked for additional interviews and pictures to feature in the London Metro and others alike. Less than a few hours later and the stories have already been published, check out this feature in The Sun…
All of the girls left the London studio by 4pm after doing an interview for a selection of online lads mags that will feature today’s images very soon and give each finalist their own individual profile.
The Beach Body Award winner will be announced on the evening of the Miss England final on July 19th at the Birmingham NEC.
Who do you think should win?
The biggest national beauty pageant, Miss England is fast-approaching and it’s sixty finalists are busy prepping, exercising, and detoxing every nook and cranny to ensure they bag that much coveted crown. We just wanted to post these amazing shots snapped by Alan Strutt for UK Model Folios of the current Miss England, Jessica Linley to show this years ladies how high the standards are for that extra incentive to be fabulous.
Jessica and the Miss England team were so overwhelmed by these shots they have already been used in several publications and will be on the front cover of this year’s Miss England programme.

Between shooting Coleen Rooney and Patsy Palmer for two separate issues of Hello in the last month, Alan has also been busy working with UK Model Folios shooting several campaigns with Miss London 2011 Rissikat Bade for diamond and watch specialist Mark J Walsh, Sytner MINI Canary Wharf and designer Karen Karmody. To add to this he also shot the front cover and inside spread of Miss and Mr Every Model, for the industry’s leading fashion and commercial model magazine, Every Model summer issue, released today!
With the calendar season fast approaching, Alan has a string of celebrity calendars lined-up to shoot which comes as no surprise after the stunning work he shot last year including another beautiful calendar for iconic model Kelly Brook and the 50’s pin-up inspired glamour shoot for Peta Todd. Both calendars were a huge success and went alongside the 12 other titles Alan shot all of which can be found at celebritycalendars.co.uk. As an extra treat for you all, UK Model Folios are teaming back-up with Alan in September to shoot calendars and portfolios in Thailand’s Koh Samui! For more information on this trip or for further information on Alan please contact us.
We’ll leave you now with a few snapshots of Alan’s most recent work for UK Model Folios and some inspirations for your 2012 calendars…
Roy Strutt has recently joined the UK Model Folios family to specialise in extravagant portraiture for babies, toddlers and families. A specialist in wedding photography, Roy discovered his love for location shooting with families during ceremonies and wedding receptions. He loves the thrill of seeing a parent’s face after he captures the love between them and their child- it really is something quite special.
UK Model Folios offer studio shoots, which are great for starting a baby/ toddler portfolio i.e. for clean background shots etc, however as a more bespoke service for those families wanting something a little different and more memorable we are now offering location shoots, specifically shot in either your own or Roy’s luxurious Essex home. We find the pictures produced in a familiar and relaxing atmosphere where a child can play normally with toys or pet their animals, are the best.
On Friday 17th, Roy shot my two year old nephew Frankie-James. Teething, just woken up and a little disorientated I witnessed first-hand how little people can be far more unreliable when it comes to adjusting to the camera straightaway, however thanks to Roy’s calming, patient and kind nature, offering Frankie lots of toys and animals to play with he gradually came out of his shell and we were able to capture some of the following beautiful and truly memorable shots for my families walls.

The temperatures are rising in London Town and our gorgeous ladies and gents cannot wait to whack their hard-earned abs and pecks out, and on to the front of their very own 2012 calendar.
We know you probably think it’s rather early to be working on your calendar already but if we were to remind you that we are half way through the year (where has the time gone?) with less than three months until calendars hit the shelves you may think twice. And so without further ado, please get in contact now if you would like to book or seek further info in on shooting your calendar in the UK, sunny Ibiza or Thailand???!!! firstname.lastname@example.org
